General Troubleshooting

Resetting the Device

1. Turn off the device and remove the battery. 
2. Refill the receiver with the Citronella Spray and note if there is a slight pressurized sound confirming the spray is going in. 
   • Note if the device leaks or shoots spray while refilling. 
3. Then reinsert the battery and turn the device on - if it sprays now, the device is working.

Device doesn't power on

Before getting started:

• Check the battery placement in the top of the unit
  1. Can we get pictures of this?

Troubleshooting

1. Take battery out, then place back into the device 
2. Ensure the battery is touching the contact points as these can sometimes bend awkwardly and need minor readjustment.
   • How do we minorly readjust these?
3. Customers may need to replace their battery if the device still doesn't power on
   • They can purchase additional batteries through our website here.
   • Are batteries covered by warranty? How do we check if they're within warranty?
