Business Customer Discount


If a potential business customer calls you will need to advise them of the following information:

  • The standard discount for business customers is 15% off any purchase over $600
  • If they are making orders above $2000 then we may be able to negotiate a larger discount or other benefits
  • This deal doesn't include any bundles or kits so make sure you advise the customer of this
  • This discount can't be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions

Business Customer Applications

  1. Once form is submitted it will generate a new line in the Monday Board for the requesters country in the CRM Workspace
  2. Use the information they have provided on the spreadsheet to investigate whether they are legitimate business or not
    • Have socials and Google business page
    • ABN number is registered to the business on ABN lookup for AU customers. You can verify this at: ABN Lookup (business.gov.au) 
      • If there is an equivalent business registry for UK & US please let me know
    • Any other information that identifies it as a legitimate business
    • If you are unsure please ask Ovi for confirmation
  3. Once you have confirmed that the business is legitimate: 
    1. Create a new customer in Shopify with the information on the Monday Board
      1. Ensure that you are selecting whether or not they have opted to receive marketing information
    2. Create the Company in FreshDesk using the "New" button at the top of the page
  4. Once this has been completed, create a custom coupon code for them
    1. Format for these is WHOLESALEXXXX. e.g. WHOLSALE2085
    2. If you are unsure how to create these specific codes in any way please let me know


  1. Call the customer to advise them you will email them their custom coupon code or send a confirmation email dependent on business hours. If sending a confirmation email, customer team should follow up with a call within a few days of approval. 
    1. On the call try and find out what they are wanting in their first order this is a great opportunity to upsell
      1. If they get a pen they made want double ups for training & use for other salon staff
      2. It is recommended for salon use that they get all the different types of cartridges for each pen they buy
      3. We also recommend getting roughly 4-5 packs of each cartridge type as these treatments can become very popular 
  2. If approving customers after business hours, send customer approval email using the canned response: wholesale approved by dr pen

                       a. Make sure to put in unique discount code and email address they will need to use to receive the discount

                       b. Add wholesale code to notes section of customers details:



Denied Applications

1. Send customer canned response: WIDP (AU) - Wholesale Info Request Dr Pen

  • For US/UK customers this may need adapting based on what we use to identify a legitimate business

    • Australian Business Number
    • Link to a business web page
      • Google
      • Website
      • Active business social media pages
    • Salon name & physical address 
                    If you are able to provide us with information we will re-assess your application.

                    We look forward to hearing from you!"


2. Place ticket into waiting on customer

3. If we do not receive a response with updated information after 3 days then close the ticket


Reselling our Products

We are happy to have business customers resell our products as long as they aren't going to compete with our online sales. If they are a physical store or salon then we have no problems with them reselling our products in store.   


You need to find out what sort of business/company they run before we approve that they can resell our products. 

  • When you are speaking to the customer, ask them how they will be reselling these products
  • Look at their business online, see if they are selling products via their website 
  • If possible, check to see if they are selling products via a third party reseller like eBay, Amazon, etc.


Once you've got this information from the customer please email Kaiya with all the information regarding the business including the information above for review before notifying the customers.
